Introduction
let's start in my case ubuntu 2004 is installed on UEFI mode
so I will install windows in the same mode first
Create partition- GParted
Step1: we will free up some space from our hard disk
for installing windows 10. we can shrink the partition containing data to free
up space for windows but you cannot resize the partition containing ubuntu
system files while it's in use you'll need a ubuntu live cd or g-parted live cd
drive to edit your partitions in this article we use g-parted tool to shrink a
data partition.
Step2: Open the terminal and Install GParted, enter the
below command
sudo apt-install g-parted
Step3: Now open Gparted, in terminal type GParted and
that will open.
Step4: if a partition is mounted unmount it
Step5: to shrink a partition right-click it and
select resize move
Step6: shrink the size of the windows partition and
apply that
Step7: once you've to Shrink a partition you could use
the unallocated space to create a new NTFS partition or leave it unallocated in
windows installation, we will format it.
Step8: click close after completing operations, after
that, I will mount my 270.5GiB one.
Installing Windows 10 pro

or USB disk of windows 10. I have a dell laptop to launch the boot menu I select
