Download Windows 10 ISO File
let's start this article is going to show you an easy way to
download and create a Windows 10 bootable USB on Windows 10. Microsoft offers a
tool called the media creation tool that lets you download the latest windows
10 iso to a file or burn it to a USB drive
Step1: first you should download windows 10 iso from the Microsoft
site you can find the link below this step. the version of windows 10 is
20 h2.

Step2: under create windows 10 installation media
click on the download tool now link and save the executable.
Step3: once downloaded run the program.
Step4: when done you will be shown a license
agreement to continue click on the accept button
Step5: at this prompt, if you want to upgrade your pc
you can do it by choosing to upgrade this pc now, we will select the Create
installation media option to create a bootable USB and then press next
Step6: by default, the media creation tool will use
your local language and architecture but you can uncheck Use the recommended
options for this pc checkbox to select other options click on the next.
Step7: you will now be asked if you wish to create a
bootable USB drive or a Windows 10 iso if you have a slow connection internet
preferably download an iso image and create bootable media at a later date
select the iso file option and press next
Step8: Select a location to save your iso file the
media creation tool will now create the iso file in the specified location
Step9: please be patient while the file is created.
Step10: when the media creation tool has finished
creating the iso you can close the program by clicking on the finish button.
Step11: you will now have the latest windows 10 iso
image file saved to your folder which can be used for virtual machines or to
create bootable media, now I will show you how to make it on Rufus utility.
Create Windows 10 bootable USB with Rufus
Step12: first you should download Rufus from the Rufus
site you can find the link in the article below this step Rufus is a utility to
format and create bootable USB media such as USB drives flash memory etc.

Step13: under the download, section clicks the latest
release and save the file on the device.
Step14: Once downloaded run the program.
Step15: on the device, the section selects the USB flash
drive. make sure the USB flash drive is connected to the device section. now
select the USB flash drive.
Step16: on the boot selection section click on the
select button to select the windows 10 iso file from the folder location this
version of windows 10 has contains a file larger than 4 gigabytes which cannot
be burned to a fat32 partition for that we will use the NTFS partition for that
Step17: select the GPT option and select the UEFI
non-CSM option to change the file system type from fat32 to NTFS.
Step18: Now click on start.
Step19: When you have the USB bootable media with
support for UEFI systems you can use it to start the windows setup wizard to
perform a clean installation of Windows 10 or an in-place upgrade however since
the UEFI NTFS bootloader does not include a digital signature for a secure boot
you must temporarily disable secure boot on bios before you can boot into the
setup wizard.
Step20: Now you are ready.
