In
simple words, email is a method of exchanging messages between two people. Now
the email system is based on a store and forward model.
History:
- 1. on October 29th, 1669 first message was sent to ARPANET from computer to computer.
- 2. In 1971: the first email was sent by Ray Tomlinson
- 3. In 1978: a marketing campaign
- 4. In 1992: no more dial-up
- 5. In 1993: AOL email lunch
- 6. In 1999: eCommerce saving
- 7. In 2004: google Gmail lunch date.
Why should you schedule an email?
- 1. Gives time to make the decision-making process.
- 2. You’ll be able to update your email if you got somehow change your mind.
What is its use?
- 1. You can schedule up to 100 emails
- 2. You can set an email at a specific date and time.
Advantages

Steps:
Step1:
open Gmail.
Setp2:
click on compose located on the left side bottom down of the Gmail logo.
Step3:
You will see a pop-up menu that shows a new message.
Step4:
enter the recipient and text
Step5: At
the bottom side next to the sent click on the down arrow and you will get the
option to schedule send a message.
Step6:
specify a date and time when your message will be sent as shown below.
Although the interface of mobile devices and desktop is
different the step is pretty much the same.
