The most popular app for messaging these two apps is WhatsApp and Facebook messenger. I am usually active on messenger and WhatsApp to collaborate with people. In the case of messenger, you can text anyone if you have a user id. But on WhatsApp, you must need the phone number to contact your friends. In this article, I will show you how you can mute other if anyone spam alike to you now let’s get into the content.

Just for a short note: WhatsApp and Messenger are owned by meta platforms. In 2014 Facebook purchased WhatsApp. So both apps WhatsApp and Facebook own by a meta company.

Steps

Step1: open your messenger app

Step2: browse the user you want or get into that chat you want to mute.

Step3: in that chat long press and you will get the option to the mute notification.

Setp4: you will get the option to mute messenger notification, mute call notification, etc.

Step5: click on any of that options to avoid them.

 

Note: 

The process of muting both messengers and WhatsApp is the same but you just will get different options to select for example in messenger you will get the option to mute call notification, and mute messenger notification whereas in WhatsApp you will get an option like always if you click on always then the chat will be muted forever, etc.

Step2: browse the uses you want or get into that chat you want to mute.

Step3: in that chat long press and you will get the mute option beside the delete option.

Step4: if you tap on that then you will get these options like 8hr, 1week, and always, etc.
